Datsun Go Hotwheels Edition Displayed at 2016 GIIAS

Among the wide range of designs that have been displayed recently at the ongoing 2016 Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show, one that has captured many eyeballs is Datsun Go Hotwheels edition. It looks like the version is only meant to spruce up the show floor for the company, however, there is no indication of it being transformed into a production unit. Moreover, to sprint the excitement level among the audience, Datsun has also showcased three other heavily modified variants of the same hatch; namely Go Java All Star X Picker, Mayrath Couture and Surfer Girl.

On the aesthetic front, the hotwheel edition gets an aerodynamic body kit in order to keep them different from the regular one. Besides, it also comes up with new front bumper, integrated with three air intakes, wing mirrors, projector headlights with hexagonal enclosures, rear spoiler, chrome exhaust tip, and golden alloy wheels. In addition, the unit is covered in an eye-catching blue-green-white sporty livery over the regular color option.

No details have been revealed by Datsun about the powertrain as they are merely in the mood to show this unit to get the crowd excited. Well, it is believed that if the unit will get production shape, the same 1.2-litre, three cylinder petrol engine could be there that is currently underpinning the ongoing Go hatch and is good for 68 PS of power.
