Finally the most affordable line up in the Datsun brand i.e. the Redi Go gets safer with the updated ABS as standard. Apart from that, the top spec S variant gets the driver side airbag but not standard.
Also, the higher specs variants like T, T(O) and S got the remote key and central locking features in the update. While the A variant is now equipped with the power steering.
Talking about the pricing of Datsun redi-GO lineup, it is currently available in between INR 2.68 lakh to INR 4.29 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi) range.
Renault Kwid is the only car in this affordable segment to get the ABS as a standard feature while none of the Maruti Alto lineups gets the ABS even as an option. However, they are available with driver airbag but in the optional range.
While other variants of the Datsun redi-GO including top-spec S gets the three-point seat belt for front and rear passengers including the two-point setup for the middle passenger.
