Does Yamaha R25 really touch 196 KMPH on Dyno?

Yamaha R25 has become the most controversial sports bike from Yamaha, now-a-days. Everybody is eagerly waiting for this bike to have a hand on it. As, we all know that R25 has received a record break booking of 2800 units within the 25 hours of its launch. The Indonesian fans who ordered for R25 are breathlessly waiting for their dream bike to come to their doorstep. This quarter-liter sports bike has been tickling around all over the internet from the past few months. Well, the Indians are still expecting this bike to come on Indian Streets, so they can also enjoy the top speed of this sports bike.

Talking about its speed, few days back, an image was rolling over the internet showing Yamaha R25's top speed at 173KMPH, surfaced on the top gear and the tacho needle was roaming around 12,000 RPM mark. Recently another Dyno run test has appeared with a new image showing a new and different top speed. The top speed acquired by the Yamaha R25 on the Dyno run test is 196KMPH and the needle of the tachometer touches the danger zone i.e. 14,000 RPM.

However, this Dyno run test doesn't imitate the real world's situation. As, the real world consists of wind resistance and tarmac resistances. The riders riding behavior also affects the speed. In the real scenario, the Yamaha R25 will go between 175-180 KMPH.
