The Italian two-wheeler manufacturer, Ducati which is an eminent name for its powerful and high performance motorcycles in the world. The company is planning to introduce Panigale 959 by replacing Ducati 899 Paniglale globally. The Ducati 959 Panigale was first showcased at the 2015 EICMA in Milan, Italy. As per the sources, Panigale 959 is expected to be launched in India in July 2016. However, Ducati did not make any official statement about the launch of Panigale 959. The successor receives some mechanical and cosmetic tweaks to get this form.
Mechanically, The new Panigale gets a higher displacement engine of 955cc which is more by 57cc than its predecessor. The new 955cc L-twin cylinder, Superquadro engine emits 157 BHP of power at 10,500 RPM and 108 Nm of torque at 9,000 RPM that is 9 BHP in power and 8.4 Nm in torque more than in comparison to its predecessor.

Visually, the Panigale 959 has a muscular look. The motorcycle gets a wider snout with bigger air intakes, shotgun-style exhaust end cans and sound reducing component. Resulting, the motorcycle is 7 kg much heavier than the foregoing Panigale 899. The motorcycle fulfills the Euro 4 noise and emission norms which will be mandatory from 2017 in the old continent.
The motorcycle borrows Showa suspension, aluminum airbox chassis, Pirelli Diablo Rosso Corsa tyres and Brembo brakes from the 899 Panigale. Apart from this, the motorcycle is furnished with a lot of dynamic features that include ABS, traction control, quickshifter and riding modes to enhance the performance and efficiency of the motorcycle. The Panigale also gets a new slipper clutch which helps in quick downshifting while tackling to the corners and reducing the possibility of rear wheel getting locked.
