Ducati Scrambler India Launch to Happen in Coming Month

The Italian firm has entered into the Indian market just a few days back. The firm is serving Indian aficionados with a wide range of products, which comprises of Ducati Hypermotard, Monster, Multistrada, Diavel and Superbikes. Apart from these offerings, a newly added member will also be joining the crew pretty soon in the coming month. The Ducati has re-introduced the all new and re-furbished Ducati Scrambler. The Scrambler was first showcased at the INTERMOT, an international motorcycle bike event which took place in Cologne, Germany, 2014. The newly introduced member is now getting ready to make its appearance in the country next month.

As per sources, the Ducati is planning to launch the Scrambler in India in the month of May, 2015. Although, the releasing date is not yet announced by the manufacturer. To begin with, the Italian two-wheeler maker has opened up three dealerships in the major cities of the country; Delhi, Mumbai and Gurgaon. The Gurgaon is the Indian head-quarter of the Ducati India. Talking about the Ducati Scrambler, it will be brought down to the country from the company’s Thailand located manufacturing plant.

Mechanically, it is featuring an 803cc, L-Twin, Desmodromic engine. The twin-cylinder configuration is tuned to deliver a maximum power of 75 BHP @ 8250 RPM and a peak torque of 68 Nm @ 5750 RPM. The liquid-cooled engine is paired to a 6-speed transmission with the help of slipper clutch. The 803cc displaced engine is fitted around a twin-spar trellis frame, which is further supported by Kayaba inverted Telescopic front forks and monoshock at the rear.

The additional on-board components increasing the gorgeous beauty of the Ducati Scramble are single-sided rear mud-guard, round-shaped headlamp with LED outline, unconventional digital console and a floating seat; achieving Scrambler styling. The braking power is provided by disc brakes on both front and rear, incorporated with dual-channel ABS. The Ducati Scrambler would be priced in between Rs 6.5 Lacs to Rs 7.5 Lacs (Ex-Showroom).
