Ducati Scrambler Mike Hailwood Edition Unveiled in Thailand

A fully customised Ducati Scrambler inspired by Mike Hailwood has been unveiled in Thailand flaunting unusual body dynamics and styling. This unique Italian piece is bounded for only 58 bikes across the world. Extremely gorgeous and funky Hailwood Scrambler Edition has got a bulk of cosmetic upgradations all over the body and is a masterpiece, which is completely different if you take a closer look.

The cost of the machine is around £14,029 and by this time, 25 or, even more, have been sold out already. As per the noticeable alterations, the motorcycle has been majorly modified on to the exteriors, though, the engine remains untouched with the standard 803cc L-Twin motor. The custom bike gets a small fairing with a tinted screen so that it can be looked alike a retro styled, 1970s tourer. There's a new paint scheme applied over the fuel tank. In simpler terms, we can say that the whole creativity behind this Italian work is inspired from the Ducati 900SS, which the Hailwood has proceeded in his comeback after a quite long time period of 11 years.

Besides this, the motorcycle features a single rider seat, which is particularly designed for this bike and pretty much identical to the 900SS. For giving it a more aggressive look, Ducati Thailand has taken the idea from the Panigale, using a special handlebar and grips. Other than this, the tail indicators have got a more compact look getting an integration into the seat unit. The gold wheels and billet aluminium mirrors are adding more grace to the bike as well. There are Termignoni exhaust system and the Ohlins rear shock under the performance-oriented modifications.
