The most coloury Italian two wheeler firm Ducati, which is well known for its performance bikes all over the world. The motorcycle maker recently hit its scary looking powerful devil, Ducati XDiavel globally in the cruiser segment. And now, the automaker came up to maximize the sensation and maniac for the Ducati in the motoring enthusiasts with the addition of XDiavel draXter concept bike to it’s Ducati XDiavel family at the Motor Bike Expo held between 22-24 January in Verona, Italy.
XDiavel draXter has been designed and developed at the Ducati Design Centre, a section devoted to producing futuristic design and concept bikes for the Italian automaker Ducati. Aesthetically, the parent XDiavel gone through various alteration to be a heartthrob XDiavel draXter which includes elimination of unnecessary component like headlight, turn-indicators, heavier alloy wheels and other cosmetic components to make it a lighter to propel faster as possible. The sports stance has been achieved by raised taillamp section, lower placed clip on handlebars and rear placed foot peg position.
Moreover, The stock exhaust has been converted with a free-flow Termignoni unit and clutch into a dry unit. The powerful sports cruiser, built on the trellis steel frame and uses slick Pirelli tyres to provide stability and extraordinary grip, while cruising at high speed.
The performance aimed cruiser, draXter shares the same the Teststretta L-Twin engine of the Ducati Multistrada. The heart of the draXter beats from a 1262 cc liquid-cooled engine that is capable to return the power of 155 bhp and 129 Nm of torque. All the power package will be transferred to the rear wheel through a six-speed transmission. Suspension duties will be taken care by Ohlins suspension and Brembo brakes for precise braking has been borrowed from 1299 Panigale Sportbike.
The 90 sticker on the side of the draXter tells about the success history of 90 years and the 90th anniversary celebration of the marque at the Motor Bike Expo in Verona, Italy.
