The Triumph Motorcycles has recently revealed its all new Tiger 800S at the ongoing Milan Motorcycle Show, 2014. The British motorcycle manufacturer has actually come-up with four variants, which are named as XC, XCx, XR and XRx. All the four variants are blessed with the company's standard triumph Traction Control system and Ride-by-Wire technology, which further helps to fetch out maximum power easily. The Tiger 800S is by-default equipped with switchable ABS system.
At the time of unveiling, the firm says, "The Tiger 800 XR is more focussed to the world of road riding whereas the Tiger 800 XC has a more off-road intent. Both models have high levels of standard equipment in a range that now includes range topping ‘x’ models. The XRx and XCx bring more technology to the segment offering equipment designed to match their purpose." Technical Specs:- The Tiger 800S is powered by a liquid-cooled, 12-Valve, DOHC, in-line three cylinder engine with an engine displacement of 799cc. The motor is capable to generate a maximum power of 94 BHP @ 9250 RPM and a peak torque of 79 Nm @ 7850 revs. The model has carried a fuel tank capacity of 19 liters and the three-cylinder set-up gives this a fuel-efficient ride of 49mpg. The Tiger 800S XR and XC are the base models and the remaining two models with an extra topping 'x' carries a little bit higher specifications, providing three riding modes; Road, Off-Road and Off settings.

Additional Equipments:- The Tiger 800S is equipped with various advanced electronic equipments such as Triumph Traction Control system, Ride-by-Wire technology, three riding modes for the additional 'x' variants and many more. The stopping power has been taken care by Nissin 2-piston floating calipers with twin floating discs at the front and Nissin single piston floating caliper with single disc at the rear. The switchable ABS has accompanied in the machine as a standard. The riding qualities of the showcased models are being enhanced by installing upside-down forks at the front and hydraulically adjustable preload monoshock at the rear. The firm will be offering the Tiger 800S with hefty price tag, which will be starting from £8,499. And, the motorcycle will go on sale by the spring season of the coming year, 2015.
