Exclusive: R-E Himalayan Spied In Production Factory

The Royal Enfield is gearing up to extend its lined-up launch of a new adventure tourer motorcycle, named Royal Enfield Himalayan. Earlier too, the tourer bike has been spotted many times while testing in the past. Once again, the Himalayan has been spied in the production line, where the bike is being manufactured. It strongly indicates that, the most awaited motorcycle is almost ready to launch soon to the Indian enthusiastic market.

In terms of design, the motorbike incorporates a round shape headlight, sharply visor, off-road tires, high mounted handlebars and fenders. It is loaded with other noteworthy components, such as, travel suspension, split seats, muscular fuel tank, rectified instrument console and pannier holder, that are suitable for the off-road cruising. Moreover, the braking duties are performed by disc brakes at its rear and front side. The side cowl carries a 'Himalayan' insignia. The vehicle is blessed with telescopic suspension at front side and monoshock fork at rear side, which are made dynamic for comfortable riding at bad roads. It heeds better stability power, as it is manufactured on the double frame chassis made by the Harris performance. The seating position is better with the fuel tank recesses for the Knees and center set foot-pegs.

The Royal Enfield Himalayan is powered by a liquid-cooled, single cylinder and 410 cc engine which delivers a peak power of 28 BHP and maximum torque of 32 Nm. The motor is mated to a five speed transmission. As per the image source, the Himalayan will be arriving with Matte black paint scheme. There are more chances for the bike to get launch in November. The bike will be sold around at a price tag of Rs 1.65 lakhs (Ex-showroom price).
