In 2015, we saw Ferrari's comeback to the Indian shores with its California T model along with new dealerships being established in Mumbai and Delhi. And now, the automaker is gearing up to launch the 488 GTB supercar, in the next few weeks. As of now, the company hasn't confirmed the news officially, but we are getting reports that 25th February could be a probable date for the launch. Even the dealers have started accepting bookings for the 488 model.

The 458 model, which was the predecessor of 488 was naturally-aspirated and spontaneous packed with a 4.5 V8 engine that used to generate 562Bhp of power. It could accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.4 seconds was loved madly by the enthusiasts. Coming to the upcoming 488, it will be fitted with a turbocharged 3.9 litres engine making a meaty output of 660Bhp and can amazingly cover 100 km/h in merely 3 seconds. Woah! That's some serious number! Smirk!
Apart from these, the 458 Spider and Ferrari FF are also likely to be added to the lineup soon. As far as the price is concerned, we don't expect any of them to be available below INR 3 Crores tag. The California T was launched at an event in Mumbai at INR 3.45 Crores (ex-showroom) and hence the 488 is also supposed to cost you the same amount. After all it's a Ferrari! Hard to get and even harder to forget! Nudge!
