The Paris Motor Show is covering a lot of cars this year and pulling a huge crowd to itself. The latest car added to the fleets is the Fiat 500X crossover and the 6 addition to the 500 family. There would be 2 versions namely Leisure and Metropolitan and both would be same in the mechanical terms. Its looks are very similar to the 500L crossover and clearly seems to be based on it, but with a few changes of course. The interiors are also very similar to the 500 Class again, with a few modifications.
The engine options will include the 1.4 Litre, 1.6 Litre and 2.0 Litre turbo oil mills in petrol fuel and 1.3 Litre MJD and 2.0 Litre MJD diesel options. The petrol engines will get joined by the 1.4 Litre multiair II and 2.4 Litre Tigershark mills as well. The petrol versions will be powered by the 6-Speed manual or 9-Speed automatic transmission with the 2.4 Litre option getting the AWD as well. The diesel options will get the 5 or 6 speed manual transmission gearbox with AW D as standard in both the options.
The car will be launched in India as well and has many hopes laden by the company to continue the success re-gained by the Fiat Punto Evo and Avventura.
