Force Motors is a well known brand for offering heavy and muscular off-roaders in the automobile market. The company has recently launched the new variants of Trax model in India with the names Toofan Deluxe and Cruiser Deluxe. These models have been rolled out at the retail price of INR 8,68,515. The former is available in two categories of seating configurations including 9+D and 13+D, whereas the latter has been offered with an 11+D facility. Apart from some subtle cosmetic upgradation, the powertrain has also received additional changes.

At the launch event, President Sales & Marketing, Mr Ashutosh Khosla was quoted as saying, “Trax is the first fully indigenous, multi utility vehicle developed in the country. Over the past three decades it has established itself as the preferred people and goods carrier in rural & semi urban India. Force Motors has been constantly refining and updating it over the years thereby ensuring its unchallenged longevity. The latest variant which offers more comfort to its passengers' is another step in that direction.”

Talking about the mechanical front, both the variants are fitted with a 2,596 cc, 4-cylinder diesel engine that complies with the BS III emission norms. It has the maximum caliber to generate 80Bhp of power at 3,200rpm and torque amounting to 230Nm between 1,800 to 2,000rpm. Regarding the cosmetics, there will be modifications in the form of features like revamped grille, re-designed bumpers, re-styled body cladding, new wheel covers and decals. The cabin boasts of dual tone dashboard, new upholstery, ac vents for the first row and roof mounted blower for the second row.
