Ford Figo Aspire Revealed with Detailed Specifications

Ford Figo Aspire, which was unveiled in March, has been officially revealed with detailed features and specifications. This compact sedan will be launched in August this year. Three engine options and two transmission systems will be offered with this model. The booking procedure for this model has been already started for a token amount of INR 50,000. This sedan will be pitted against cars like Swift Dzire, Hyundai Xcent, Honda Amaze and Tata Zest. This India-specific sedan will be offered in four trims that include- Ambiente, Trend, Titanium and Titanium Plus.

Dimensionally, this model measures 1,525 mm in height, 3,995 mm in length and 1,695 mm in width along with a wheelbase measuring 2,491 mm. The boot space on the offer measures 359 litres and the ground clearance is 174 mm. Its turning radius measures 4.9 metres and it stands on 14-inch alloy wheels.

The three engine options include one diesel and two petrol units. The petrol variants are powered by either a 1.2 litre or 1.5 litre engines. The former produces 88 PS and 112 Nm torque while the latter delivers 112 PS and 136 Nm torque. The base model carries five-speed manual gearbox while the top spec gets a CVT system. Apart from these, the diesel variant carries 1.5 litre engine that pumps out 100 PS power and 215 Nm torque. It is mated to a five-speed manual gearbox for transmission.

The cabin gets leather covered seats, adjustable seatbelts and AppLink entertainment system with voice command. Other important features include climate control electric power steering, six airbags, ABS, EBD, Hill Launch Assist etc. Additional features like MyFord Dock and Ford MyKey will enable the driver to control the speed of the car as well as the music volume.

The upcoming Aspire will be available for sale in the month of August and buyers will be able to choose from six paint shades. Manufacturing of this sedan will take place in Gujarat at Ford's production plant located in Sanand.
