Ford India had a good 2014 with its EcoSports crossover selling to volumes and becoming one of the top-notch car. Also, Ford Figo hatchback hasn't lost its charm yet in the country. Now, the company has also planned to launch the Figo sedan which is known as KA sedan as well in India. The car will come to the market in mid-2015, if launched though. It'll be compact version taking on the likes of Tata Zest, Honda Amaze, Maruti Dzire and other cars in the segment. It has already been imported to India to the homologation purpose and undergoing rigors testing before gets a nod from the authorities.
Another launch, on which the Ford is working is about Figo hatchback 2015 that might get launched as well with the sedan version. The features of this possible sedan are not available yet, but the engine details have been anticipated. Ford is likely to offer 1.5 Litre 4-Cylinder petrol engine, 1.5 Litre 4-Cylinder TDCI Diesel Turbocharged engine and a lower performance version of its famous 1.0 Litre EcoBoost engine as well. All 3 engines will be mated with both automatic and manual transmission systems.
The launch date and price of Figo Sedan hasn't been finalized yet, but as we said above that it might see the light of the day sometime in the middle of 2015. And, as soon as we get updates about its features and price, we'll get back to you swiftly.
