General Motors has always showcased a new variant of Chevrolet Camaro in Auto Expo held at a different location every year and following the same suite, this year too GM has showcased a new Chevrolet dubbed the Sixth Generation Chevrolet Camaro at the ongoing Delhi Auto Expo. The same model got unveiled in Detroit last year in the month of May and now has made its Indian debut through the ongoing Auto Expo. It is made available in both the Coupe and the Convertible body-styles and offer only left-hand drive configuration.
The new Chevrolet variant sports different engine options like the 2.0-litre is the base engine that produces 275 hp power and 400 Nm of torque mated to a 6-speed manual transmission gearbox allowing the car to reach a 100Km milestone in just 6 seconds. Next in line is the 3.6-litre engine producing a power of 335 hp and torque of 385 Nm and topping the range is the 6.2-litre engine that produces a power of 455 hp and 617 Nm of torque and both of these engines are mated with both the six-speed manual and auto gearbox. Unlike the previous models, 2016 Chevrolet Camaro is 200lbs lighter.
