During the launching of Hero Maestro Edge and Hero Duet, India's largest two-wheeler maker, Hero MotoCorp, has announced that the Research & Development centers of Gurgaon and Dharuhera both are to be shifted to Kukus near Jaipur, Rajasthan. It will be the second manufacturing facility in the Rajasthan. The company has invested around 450 Crore to set up the new facility center in the Jaipur. Moreover, the firm has already laid the foundation stone of a new research & development back in September 2013. Currently, the company has four manufacturing facilities in the country that are located in Neemrana, Dharuhera, Haridwar and Haryana. Moreover, the another facility of the Hero MotoCorp is under construction that is located in Halol, Gujrat.
Apart from this, the company is also planning to spread their wings across the country by opening over 20 manufacturing facilities by 2020. In the recent time, the company has a wide range of commuter motorcycles that are creating a lot of buzz in the Indian two-wheeler market. Furthermore, the firm is also working on that project (Hero HX 250R) that was left incomplete due to the bankruptcy of its US-based technical partner, Eric Buell Racing.
