Mr. Vikram Pawah has been appointed as a new managing director of H-D India. Now he will manage entire leadership team of the company that is responsible for the Harley-Davidson bike's sales, marketing, service and dealer network management. The company has entrusted a major duty on his shoulder to extend H-D empire in Indian market.

Vice president and managing director of Asia Pacific, Mr. Marc McAllister, said about the appointment, "India is an important and growing market for Harley-Davidson, and with Pawah’s leadership and long experience in the automotive industry, we will seek to expand our presence even further in the country, to allow more customers, the opportunity to fulfill their dreams of personal freedom."

Talking about the Pawah, he has experience of more than 24 years, out of which he worked with Honda in India and Australia for 21 years continuously. Lately, he has resigned from the post of Vice President and operating head-sales of Honda Cars India Ltd. Now he is replaced by Anoop Prakash, who led the H-D's entry into India.
