After the imposition of ban on the non-BS-IV compliant vehicles by the Supreme Court, two-wheeler companies in India are giving away heavy discounts to clear the stock of BS3 vehicles.
The wheeler-companies have confirmed that the high discounts are offered at dealerships and may vary accordingly. Hero is offering a hefty discount of upto Rs 12,500 apart from free insurance on all Hero's BS-III two wheelers until March 31 and depending on the availability of the stock.
Meanwhile, Honda India has confirmed the discount news through its facebook page and offered a cashback of upto Rs 22,000 on any Honda BS III compliant models on wednesday eve. The offer is liable only to Honda's BS-III motorcycles and automatic scooters. The offer ends by March 31, 2017. In Fact, the CB Hornet 160R is being sold at a discount of upto Rs 18,500.

Triumph Adventure Bikes – Rs 60,000-80,000
Ducati Monster 821 – Rs 2.70 lakh
Ducati Scramber – Rs 2.50 lakh
Ducati Diavel – Rs 2 lakh
Harley-Davidson Street 750 – Rs 30,000
Kawasaki Bikes – Rs 1.00-1.50 lakh
TVS Motors is also offering a discount of Rs 3,000 on its product lineup. Some Yamaha dealers are also offering a discount of around Rs. 10,000 on some selected models. Some dealers have assured that the registrations will be done on the Friday as the deal closes.
