Hero Destini 125, a 125cc premium scooter is going to be Hero’s first scooter in 125cc Automatic Scooter segment on October 22. Earlier, it came to the appearance at the 2018 Auto Expo though under the Duet badge. Now the question arises, what Hero will offer with the Destini 125? So here’s an overview of what a customer/buyer would expect with this upcoming.
Design:
As mentioned above, it was showcased at the 2018 Auto Expo with name-Duet. Similarly, we find it in terms of design, styling and body language. The scooter carries a conventional look with a host of premium fits to distinguish it from the ongoing Duet 110 in the market. With the chrome studded front apron and side panels, it is expected that the customer will get a rich range of colour to opt. The headlight unit on the Destini 125 gets the similar position as of the Duet 110 on the handlebar. While the turn indicators now obtain a different spot on either side of the chrome garnish at front apron.
Features:
As going to be brand’s flagship in premium scooter segment, the Destini 125 will be well-equipped. It will be benefited with the Hero patented i3S start-stop system, which sports in saving fuel by shutting engine being idle for a set amount of time-5 seconds. In addition to this, there will be a handlebar mounted semi-digital instrument console which will display analog speedometer along with trip meter, fuel level, and an odometer service due indicator as well. While the features like an external fuel filler cap, an external fuel filler cap and pass switch will amaze you by proving their utility during a ride.

Engine:
The Hero Destini 125 will draw propelling power from a 124cc single-cylinder engine. The engine will be mated to a CVT transmission and pass the maximum power of 8.7bhp along with a peak torque of 10.2Nm to the rear wheel.
Cycle Parts:
At its display at 2018 Auto Expo, the Destini was not armed with a front disc brake and so the feature is pretty unsure on the Destini 125 anytime soon. Though, the CBS (combined braking system) is in question and expected to find place for braking as standard unit. Meanwhile, we could find 10-inch wheels shod up with the tubeless tyres.
