When it comes to safety in vehicles, the name, which pops up first, is ABS. Anti Lock Braking System is among the most advanced braking aspects. In India, only a few motorcycle manufacturers are blessing their products with this system including mostly superbikes and high performance vehicles. Among this line up of technically advanced bikes, Hero will also be going to ingress with its HX250R sports model, but the awe factor will be discovered as Hero Hunk with ABS.
A video has been released, which shows a rider, roaming with its Hero Hunk. As an auto rickshaw came across its way, the rider stretches the brake lever. The video clearly shows that the front wheel of the bike is moving as if it is acted upon by the ABS. The video is not producing any hoax effect and we have been coerced to count this bike among future ABS equipped bikes bound for India.
ABS system equipped in the bike (shown in the video) is a Bosch unit, and this company doesn’t need any introduction regarding its superbly crafted products including brake lines, ABS and highly modern service workshops. Hero MotoCorp has already announced its HX250R to be having Bosch made ABS system, while referring to the video, it seems that they are planning their 150cc and above class to be treated in the same fashion. If the plans came into existence, it would be a lot beneficial for riders in India, and the accident rate will experience a highly effective falling graph. It is to be noted that, Indian government has made it mandatory for all four wheelers to run with ABS system, year 2017 onwards. If the rule reflects over the two wheeler industry also, then it would be a great approach for all.
