Hero MotoCorp has officially launched Hero Maestro Edge in Indian two-wheeler market, at Rs. 49,500 (Ex-Showroom Delhi). The scooter will be sold in the country in two variants- LX and VX that will be begun for sale from October 13. The new Hero Duet is available in seven new colors option-Candy Blazing Red, Matt Blue, Techno Blue, Pearl Silver White, Matt Vernier Grey, Panther Black and Shooting Night Star. The scooter is offered with a 5 years warranty.
The new Hero Maestro Edge comes featured with all metal body and has also shared most of design and mechanical components with the new Hero Duet. The sharp edges on the front apron and headlight cluster give a massive look to the scooter. It gets a host of dynamic features including tubeless tyres, mobile charging USB port, digital instrument cluster, under seat storage lamp, integrated braking system and alloy wheels. The Hero maestro gets excellent ergonomics and power-to-weight-ratio that measure 1840 mm of length, 695 mm of width and 1190 mm of height. The scooter carries a kerb weight of 110 kgs. The wheelbase of new Maestro is 1,265 mm, whereas the ground clearance is 155 mm.
In terms of powertrain, the new Hero Maestro is powered by the new 110cc, air cooled and single cylinder engine that returns 8.34 PS of power at 8000 RPM and 8.30 Nm of torque at 6500 RPM, the engine is mated to a CVT transmission. Furthermore, the scooter gets a front telescopic suspension and rear shock absorber, whereas the integrated braking system is being offered as standard.
