India's largest two-wheeler maker, Hero MotoCorp, is all set to launch new Super Splendor and Splendor Pro in the Indian two-wheeler market. The Splendor is flagship motorcycle of the firm that has received a number of updates since its production. There is a big history behind the success of the Splendor. Moreover, it's been so many times that Hero MotoCorp has not upgraded its flagship model, Splendor and the motorcycle looking outdated and old. Now, it is a right time to receive some cosmetic updates to compete with its erstwhile partner- Honda and Bajaj Auto. With the new changes, the company wants to repeat the history of its flagship Splendor and other models in the Indian two-wheeler market.
The new Splendor is likely to be received changes in the front end and might be received new graphics, in addition of cosmetic updates, the engine unit would be tuned for a bit more power and better fuel economy. Moreover, the new motorcycle will receive options in the disc brake category, which was not available in the previous models, say reports. The Splendor Pro will also get same changes while the Splendor Pro has not received any updates since its production. Both the models would receive better suspension for the maximum comfort to the riders.

The Super Splendor is still powered by the single-cylinder, four-stroke and 124.7cc engine displacement that returns 9.12 PS of power at 7000 RPM and 10.35 Nm of torque at 4000 RPM. The engine is mated to a four-speed transmission. Whereas, the Splendor Pro is powered by the air-cooled, four-stroke and 97.2cc engine displacement which delivers 8.36 PS of power and 8.05 Nm of torque. Moreover, the price of the new models will be slightly higher that current models.
