"Hero Splendor iSmart" has came up with a complete new design borrowed slightly from Splendor NXG. It was launched in the year 2013 and got good reviews after test ride as Hero Motocorp has introduced new technology in this bike. Lets have a look on its design, specifications and reviews.

1. Designing and Looks :- Hero Splendor iSmart has some nominal changes if compared with its predecessors. Being a street bike it has average looking features. The headlight of this bike has given halogen light with a black color bezel around it, which is a dominating part. The colors of this bike are funky but follows the tradition of Splendor bikes. This bike is available with alluring Dual-tone colors. The split grab rail is also one of the most important parts of attraction. It took its curves and cues from Splendor NXG.

2. i3S Technology :- Hero Motocorp introduced one of the finest technology in this bike, the technology named as i3S i.e. Idol Stop and Start System. Company introduced i3S technology for the first time in this bike and may introduce further as well. I3S will help engine to shuts down automatically if the bike is standing in an idle manner and turn it on when rider throttles again. This technology is completely based upon gear positioning, it does not determines speed. It helps engine to become more fuel efficient even in high traffic.

4. Value for money :- Hero Splendor iSmart has come up with two different versions, one with Alloy 5-spoke wheels and other one with metal spoke wheels. The price ranges from Rs 42,750 to Rs 46,450 (Ex-Showroom, New Delhi) with various features available like Alloy wheels or spoke wheels and with self start or kick start. Even after all these features available, some features are still missing :-

No front or rear disc brakes, which is easily available in this price range in Honda CB Twister LED tail lamps are missing, Bajaj Discover is providing you this within the same price range No Digital meter

Verdict :- Being furnished with all new features, Hero Splendor iSmart still lacks in the competition of providing a better performance and fuel efficient combination. If we'll talk within the range of Splendor bikes it has surely became a hard competitor in every aspect, but again in the market there is a tough competition as other companies are also providing the same combination with additional features in the same price range.
