Hero MotoCorp recently stated that they will launch two models of Splendor series in the Indian two-wheeler market named Super Splendor and Splendor Pro. Both are the revised models that are likely to be carried Hero made engines. Recently, the one model of upcoming Splendor models has been spotted for the first time, Splendor Pro. As per the spy shots, there are a lot of changes in the motorcycle such as it gets an all-new headlight and revised black visor, that is square in shape. The rear section has received minor changes that include new tail light whereas the side body profile also goes under treatment.
The 2016 Splendor Pro has received a completely new instrument cluster as three separate pods on a single board that carries side stand indication, speedometer and fuel meter. Some of its components are shared with the Hero stable. The grab rail silencer heat shield has been borrowed from HX- Deluxe, whereas the front mud guard and turn indicators remain the same. The Splendor loses its steel luggage mounting point, while it also gets the same alloy wheels that are located in HF-Deluxe. The suspension covers also remain the same.
The 2016 Hero Splendor Pro might come powered by the Hero's new 100/110cc engine since its is being tested since a several times. The technical specifications of new Splendor Pro are under wrapped, but it is expected that new engine will deliver healthy power output and mileage as well. Moreover, the price of the new Splendor Pro will be same might be slightly higher than the current Splendor. The current variants of Splendor series are available in the market at between Rs. 46,337/- to Rs. 49,288/- (Ex. Showroom).
