Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India has set a new milestone as the company has sold one crore units of Activa in India. It becomes the first scooter in the country to achieve this landmark. In June 2015, the Honda was sold over 1,96, 913 units of Activa, which is more than in the comparison of previous year sales. Moreover, the scooter was launched in 2001, since then it is the leader of the scooter segment. The Honda Activa range includes three scooters as Activa 3G, Activa i and Activa 125.

The Activa features a four-stroke engine, Honda Eco Technology and automatic transmission that provides excellent performance and dynamic ride quality. The Combi Braking System and standard suspension is offered in all models of Activa. The scooter features a comfortable handlebar and wide seat which provides excellent sitting position to the both rider and pillion.
The sales record of Honda Activa was 55,000 units (FY 2001-02) and now the sales record is 2.1 million units (FY 2014-15). The Activa has 59 percent market share in the scooter segment. The company also said that the Activa is also the country's top-selling two-wheeler for the last two consecutive months (June & July, 2015). In fact in July 2015, Honda became the first manufacturer to sell more than 2.5 lakh scooters in a single month ever.
