Honda Cars India has released its new model of Amaze after selling 80,000 of Amaze cars. The new car has launched with the name of Honda Amaze Anniversary Edition to celebrate the first anniversary of its bestselling car.
This new car features door visors, exhaust pipe finisher, side skirts and front, side and trunk spoiler to give sporty and stylish look to it. Car's interior gets the woody panel and premium upholstery on dashboard. This compact sedan comes in both 'VX' and 'S' variants and also available in petrol and diesel engine.
Honda cars India's Senior V.P. of Marketing and Sales department said, "Honda Amaze has been a game-changer in its segment and has enabled HCIL to reach out to so many new customers, bringing them into the Honda fold. It is Honda's constant endeavour to provide freshness to our products and create excitement in the market."
This Anniversary Edition's 'VX' variant car is priced Rs. 7.08 lakh for petrol, Rs. 7.91 for diesel and Rs. 8.03 lakh for automatic. 'S' variant of this compact Sedan is priced Rs 6.07 lakh for petrol, Rs. 7.04 lakh for diesel and Rs. 7.14 lakh for Automatic. The car is priced Rs. 71,861 more from its previous standard variants of 'S' and 'VX'. All prices are Ex-Showroom price in Mumbai.
It develops maximum power of 88BHP and has 1.2L engine capacity for petrol variant. Its 1.5L diesel engine has maximum power of 100BHP. Both engines come incorporated with 5-speed manual gearbox. Petrol engine also comes along with 5-speed CVT automatic transmission system.
