Honda India has launched the ABS version of its one of the most popular commuters in country’s lineup, the Unicorn 150. The Unicorn 150 ABS is priced at INR 78,815 (ex-showroom Delhi). The automaker is asking for a premium of INR 6500 over the the non-ABS variant.
FYI, the Unicorn 150 gets a single-channel ABS feature like other models in Indian lineup. The single channel ABS works only on the front wheel in order to avoid locking up of wheels. Other than this, the Unicorn 150 is popular among the audience for its decent styling, comfortable seating and soft suspension setup. The automaker pulled off the bike from the production line a few years ago and introduced the Unicorn 160. However, the raise in demand for the Unicorn 150 made the bikemaker to re-introduce it in the Indian market.

Under the fuel tank, the motorcycle continues to get power from the identical 150cc single-cylinder air-cooled motor works on the outgoing model. The engine is rated to churn out 2.73bhp at 8000rpm and peak torque of 12.8Nm at 5500rpm. While the power transmission is managed by a five-speed gearbox. As compared to other premium commuters like Honda CB Hornet 160R and the X-Blade, the Unicorn 150 is not wealthy in features. Albeit, it comes with 3D emblem on the fuel tank and chrome carburettor cover.
In its segment, the Honda CB Unicorn 150 ABS will go in competition with the likes of the TVS Apache RTR 160, Hero Achiever 150 and the Bajaj Pulsar 150.
