Honda CB300F has made its official entry, images revealed

Recently the Honda Company had officially announced their aforementioned bike, which has a line-up for the year 2015. Few days back, the company had showcased the patent sketches of the upcoming bike and also mentioned that this will be a naked version of the Honda CBR 300R. At the time of unveiling the sketches the company had confirmed that the bike will be heading towards production pretty soon this year. Now, here comes the official image of the upcoming Honda CB 300F. It is expected that the bike will get launched by the starting of the year, 2015. The bike has finally got a metal image from the mental image.

The CB 300F is powered by a liquid-cooled, single-cylinder DOHC engine, which gives an engine displacement of 249cc. The engine is capable to churn out a total power of 30.4 BHP @ 8,500 RPM and a peak torque of 27Nm @ 7,250 RPM. The engine is mated with a 6-speed transmission.

For the braking system, twin piston calipers have been introduced with 296mm disc brakes at front and single-caliper 220mm disc brakes at the rear.The changes which have been made in the styling of this bike are its handle bars and seat positioning to provide a comfortable ride to its riders.

 

As, we all know that it belongs to the naked version, the bike does not feature much fairing all across its body. It is believed that it will reduce the cost of the bike as well. The CB 300F has single headlight and radiator shrouds, which looks similar to the CB 500F.

The company has assured that the bike will get displayed in the showrooms at the end of this year. In the United States, the pricing of the Honda CBR 300R is $4399 and $4899 for its ABS version. The American Honda has revealed the price of Honda CB 300F with a price tag of $3999, which is comparatively lesser than the CBR 300R.
