Honda CB650F Debuting at Paris Motor Show 2014

Honda Motorcycles has come-up and showcased its naked sports motorcycle at the ongoing Paris Motor Show, 2014. The displayed motorcycle is named as Honda CB650F and has come under a naked series of motorcycle carrying a little bit of front fairing. The showcased middle-liter class motorcycle has a full-faired sibling as well, which is baptized as Honda CBR650F, carrying a street-fighter look. The faired supersports motorcycle has already made its Indian debut at the Indian Auto Expo, which took place later this year in the month of February.

The Honda CB650F is powered by an in-line, four-cylinder and DOHC engine with an engine displacement of 649cc, which comes mated to a 6-speed transmission. The 649cc engine is capable to generate a total power of 85.8 BHP @ 11,000 revs and a peak torque of 63 Nm @ 8000 RPM. The manufacturer has claimed a mileage of 21KMPL. The stopping power has been taken care by dual-disc Nissin brakes at the front and single piston with single disc at the rear and ABS has been given as standard. The manufacturer has enhanced the riding capability of the motorcycle by providing telescopic front suspension at the front and monoshock at the rear.

At the Indian Auto Expo, the HMSI has made an announcement that the Honda CBR650F will get assembled domestically and will be available for sale by the start of next year, but there is no information about the newly introduced naked Street-Fighter. However, it won't be difficult for HMSI to assemble the Honda CB650F, as it is a naked sibling. And, the naked street-fighter will become cost-effective as well.
