The recently revealed India-bound Honda Accord Facelift has been launched in Thailand. However, We witnessed the pre-facelifted version of the Honda Accord at the 2016 Delhi Auto Expo. Bit, eventually the automaker decided to give it some major cosmetic changes and thus, launched the facelifted version of the Accord. Presently, the facelifted Accord has been introduced in Thailand and it will be officially launched in India by the end of this year.
The exterior of the new Accord gets the same front grille but we can see some changes with the new headlights and LED taillamps. The interior gets more updated with the latest 7.7-inch touchscreen infotainment system that comes pre-installed with Apple CarPlay and wifi hotspot connectivity. The dashboard and door panels offer magnificent classy look with black and faux wood finish.
In Thailand, the car will be available in two engine choices – the 2.0-litre petrol and the 2.4-litre petrol, both propelling maximum power output of 150bhp and 172 bhp respectively. The engines get mated to a torque convertor automatic transmission. As far as the Indian trim is concerned, it is likely to get the 2.0-litre engine coupled with an electric motor, making it a hybrid power mill.
