The Honda India Car brand has recently made an announcement to confirm the price hike which is going to be effective since February 1, 2019.

The reason for the price hike is the increasing cost of the commodity due to heavy taxation and the constantly lowering rate of the Indian Currency in the World market. The exact hike in the price would be up to Rs 10,000 on CR-V SUV and up to Rs 7,000 for all the other lined ups.
The Japanese Honda India models made available to the Indian customers include, the Brio hatchback, Amaze compact sedan, Jazz premium hatchback, WR-V crossover, City sedan, BR-V seven-seater, CR-V SUV and Accord Hybrid sedan.
The new top-spec petrol-manual variant, the mid-size sedan of Honda brand has been recently launched in India also the new-gen CR-V has been introduced in India in October last year
The new Honda Civic with a diesel engine option for the first time is expected to be in the forthcoming plans of the Honda Company and expected to be brought to the Indian market in February 2019. Following it, the next-gen models of the City and Jazz would be brought to the Indian customers in 2020. The Company would be offering its Indian Customers with an affordable hybrid model expectedly in 2021.
