The 2016 Honda CB Unicorn made a comeback at the 2016 Auto Expo exhibiting no exterior changes, though the bike is going to make a re-launch sitting along the already running 160cc CB Hornet and Unicorn. Reports on thrustzone stated the news, while plans of the re-launch of the motorbike were discussed at the Expo earlier.
The reintroduction of the Unicorn is due to the emerging public demand. The production of the machine was abolished as the 160cc versions have started taking over the market. Now, the tourer has been launched at INR 69,305 (Ex-showroom, Delhi) and it is evidently grabbing a lot of attention from the crowd. As per the measurements, the bike is 2,095mm tall, 1,100mm high, and 756mm wide with a wheelbase of 1,340mm. The kerb weight carried by motorcycle is 146kgs, getting a ground clearance of 179mm.
The powerplant of the commuter comprises of a 149cc air-cooled, single-cylinder engine, which makes a power of 13.14BHP at 8500 RPM and a maximum torque of 12.84NM at 5500 RPM matched up to a five-speed transmission unit. Available in the BS-4 state, the bike meets the emission norms as well.

HMSI has been getting more affluent in terms of the motorcycle sales as compared to its scooter segment. The sales graph shows the retailing of 1,42,702 motorcycles after June 2015 showcasing a 27 percent growth.
