Honda Revamped the VFR800X for its Hunt in 2015

Honda has boosted the platform of enduro bikes with an update to the VFR800X Crossrunner. Few days back, BMW was also seen with the S1000XR enduro bike which is scheduled for next year’s launch. The sudden spark in the production of the alleged category bikes has given strong reason for the future rulers. The future VFR800X will be seen with a hike in power and torque figures for better performance and over all abilities.

The 800 cc V4 80 degrees inclined DOHC 16 Valve engine of Honda VFR800X is molested with a power raise of 5BHP from 101BHP to 106BHP revolving at 10,250 RPM. A lot of standard equipments see their inclusion in the 2015 model of the VFR800X. The heated grips, self cancelling indicators, adjustable seat height, longer suspension, new brakes and wheels will come standard in this bike. The Traction control will also be made available with selectable torque control system.

With the update in wheels, the 17” units will be capable to run over the tough and humble terrains very easily and to add the feel of steadiness; Honda has also revised the frame of the bike along with the aluminium swingarm. The rear wheel is wrapped up with an 180 cross sectional tyre while the front one is a 120. The prices or the bike has not yet declared officially, but it’s for sure that it won’t be coming to our court as the category is cherished mostly in the European countries.

The Honda Motor’s official release says, “The VFR800X is a true VFR - a motorcycle designed for hard riding fun, but with style, comfort and practicality. Accordingly, the seat is now adjustable, offering two height options, and 5-stage heated grips and Honda's self-cancelling indicators are both fitted as standard. New, full LED lighting adds a distinct presence and premium finishing touch.

The 2015 VFR800X will be showcased in the UK at Motorcycle Live between 22nd - 30th November 2014 and available through Honda UK Motorcycle dealers from early December.”
