Honda unloaded CD 110 Dream in the market

Honda has announced its all new dreamed commuter bike in the Indian market. After Dream Neo and Dream Yuga, this the third commuter bike in the row of 110cc from Honda, which belongs to the Dream family. The newly launched bike is named as "Honda CD 110 Dream" and it is specifically designed to fulfill the practical and commuting needs of the people. The latest bike has made its entry as a most affordable commuter bike with an exclusive price range of Rs 41,100 (Ex-Showroom, Delhi). The CD 110 Dream is priced cheaper than the Neo and Yuga of the dream family.

What makes it so affordable?

The CD 110 Dream has been designed to accomplish the primary need of the people i.e. a powerful mileage. The bike is blessed with Honda Eco Technology (HET), which has improved fuel efficiency to achieve a claimed mileage of 74KMPL. The single-cylinder, air-cooled engine gives an engine displacement of 110cc. The engine is capable to boost up a total power of 8.25BHP @ 7,500RPM and a maximum torque of 8.63Nm @ 5,500RPM.

The CD 110 Dream features very noticeable difference from its predecessors, which includes a maintenance free battery, viscous air filter, tubeless tyres, silver coated alloy wheels and engine. Honda has announced this upcoming bike along with a campaign named as 'Honda is Honda', which starts off across the country. The company will start commencing this bike from the starting of August, 2014.

According to Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI), the CD 110 Dream comes under the basic commuter segment and will be targeting for both, rural and urban customers. The company had launched this bike in three different color schemes, i.e. Black with Red stripe, Black with Blue stripe and Black with Gray stripe. The CD 110 Dream is coming along with different variants of a kick start, drum brakes and alloy wheels. As, we all know that Honda shares great market value in India, and also planning to expand it by launching its new models like CD 110 Dream and new line-up model of 160cc segment for 4th quarter of the year.
