The Houje DR300 which is a naked streetfighter surfaced online via patent images leak a few months ago. Lately, it has been marked its official presence in front of the audience in China. As expected, the Houje DR300 will launch in the global market under the Suzuki GSX-S300 moniker.
Aesthetically, it’s an aggressive streetfighter with intense design language. The motorcycle managed to get silhouette and styling of patent images in its market-ready guise. Other than this, a petite and chiselled LED headlamp along with components such as the beefy forks and large tank extensions are add-ons to its appearance.
This appealing bike gets an all-digital instrument cluster which displays speedometer, tachometer, gear position indicator, trip meter, odometer and more. Moreover, it gets a narrower rear section with split seat and an LED tail light.
The Houje DR300 is powered by a 298cc, liquid-cooled parallel-twin motor. Well, the power output is not revealed by the Chinese bike maker though we can expect the power generation of around 30hp along with 25Nm of peak torque. The power transmission is under the supervision of a 6-speed transmission.

The suspension equipment comprises of a USD forks up front and a preload adjustable monoshock at the rear. Meanwhile, the braking setup gets complete with the association of disc brakes on both wheels which further get rider’s aids of dual-channel ABS as standard.
Runs on 17-inch alloy wheels, the Houje DR300 has rubber wrap of measuring 110/70 at the front and 140/60 Pirelli tyres at the rear.
The Indian emergence of the Houje DR300 or the Suzuki GSX-S300 is in darkness as the company has planned for a new 250cc model for our country. Expectations suggest it would be new Suzuki Gixxer with 250cc, single-cylinder engine and launch by next year.
