How Many CBR are Exactly Coming to India in 2015??

The Honda Motorcycles has now become one of the leading two-wheeler manufacturers in India. The Honda Activa is now the leading product in the scooter segment of the country. The firm has various future plans to expand the Indian product portfolio by introducing several new vehicles, which mainly include Honda CBR series motorcycles. Currently, the firm is offering two motorcycles following the CBR series, Honda CBR 150R and Honda CBR 250R. According to the sources, the Japanese motorcycle manufacturer has made an announcement to introduce some more CBR's for the Indian motorcycle enthusiasts.

The Honda CBR 300R and CBR 650F has already confirmed their arrival to the Indian shores by the coming year, 2015. The sales of the CBR 250R have to be stopped for the sake of the 300R. The Honda CBR 300R and the 650F, both are the fully-faired version motorcycles. Apart from these two, an updated version of the CBR 150R will also be making its appearance next year. It seems that the Japanese firm is planning something really big for the year 2015. Hence, for these new arrivals, the selling and booking of the CBR 250R is completely stopped and the manufacturer has also closed the production as well.

Moving onwards, the Honda CBR 500R is another member to enter the Indian market. The half-liter class sports motorcycle was being imported over the Indian ground for R&D purpose. The CBR 500R will be featuring a twin-cylinder configuration carrying a 471cc displaced engine. The power and torque figures generated by the half-liter class motorcycle are 45 BHP of power and 43Nm of torque. The Honda CBR 500R is expected to receive a price tag of nearly Rs 4 Lacs.

The CBR 500R and 650F will be entering via the CKD routes in India and then gets locally assembled within the same assembly line. While the CBR 300R and updated version of 150R will be locally manufactured at the Honda's manufacturing facility.The Honda CBR 500R and 650F both have made their official appearance at the earlier happened Auto Expo, which took place in the month of February, 2014. Now, these four CBR's coming towards the Indian market will definitely heat-up the competition among its rivals.
