Owing to the rising demand for Hyundai Creta in the automobile market, the car maker has recently gone ahead to increase the production figures of the crossover. The crossover has registered a total of 1 Lakh bookings and 45,000 units of the vehicle have been already delivered in the domestic as well as international markets. Consequently, the company has hiked the production to 12,500 units per month in order to meet the required numbers.
As of now, the waiting period for Creta stands at three months for which the production will be hiked to 10,000 units from June 2016 to cater the domestic market. This will reportedly help in shortening the waiting period to 1 month. As far as the foreign market is concerned, it will be extended to 2,500 units per month, thereby making it 12,500 overall.
