Last week, Hyundai again presented the first countenance of its brand new production variant of ix25 compact SUV at the Chengdu Motor Show and this latest model has already spotted on the road for testing many times. Reportedly, the carriage seems to unscrew in India in the coming next year. The most awaited vehicle is almost identical to its predecessor, which had demonstrated at the Bejing Motor show. However, the ix25 gets the updated bumpers and headlights, which makes this production version more charming as compare to the previous model.
Within the cabin, the motor includes the similar steering wheel as the Verna and the instrument console harmonized to the Elite i20. The AC vents and the music system appear to be inherit by the Santa Fe. On the other hand, it is constructed with the powered front seats, power folding wing mirrors, multifunctional steering wheel, differential lock, hill descent control heated seats and the rear AC vents. The runabout is coupled with the automatic climate control and the panoramic sunroof.
In the Indian market the ix25 will be available with the two engine options for the petrol and diesel. The 1.6 litre petrol model and the diesel version are expected to produce the transcendent power output with the stunning fuel efficiency. The compact SUV will compete against the Ford EcoSport, Renault Duster, Mahindra Scorpio and the Nissan Terrano. The price of the car will vary between INR 8 Lakhs to INR 10 Lakhs.
