Korean Automobile Company Hyundai has finally raised its curtain off from its most awaiting compact SUV ix25 at Beijing Auto Show on Sunday. The car will be set to launch in China later in 2014. Its name describes the meaning of the small SUV. Company said that its 'i' describes the specialty of the car which tells it as "inspiring, intelligent and innovative".
The new Hyundai SUV hints that design has been taken from Santa Fe. It is 4,270mm long, 1,780mm wide. Its height is 1,630mm and has wheelbase of 2,590mm. This newly launched car is fitted with Nu 2.0-litre engine. "We will now prepare for another successful decade in China through the launch of high-quality models such as the ix25 SUV, which is strategically-developed for China, and the all-new Genesis introduced today," Hyundai Motor President Sung Kee Choi said.
The exterior of the car is made up of Hyundai's Fluidic Sculpture 2.0 design philosophy. Hyundai iX25 has hexagonal grille and alloy wheels. It looks aggressive in comparison with company's other vehicles. Its body is equipped with LED headlamps, silver skid plate and fog light enclosures. Overall car has sporty and stylish built. It has sloping roofline which is perfect for an SUV. At the rear, it is equipped with stepped tailgate and it is manufactured well with exhaust tip which is attached into the bumper, made the car unique and stylish.
