The South Korean Automobile Giant, Hyundai might not have previewed the Elantra model at the 2016 Auto Expo but plans to bring it to the country by the end of this year. However, the new version of the Hyundai Elantra was previewed in its own domestic country last year itself. The car gets all-new fluidic design along with a new platform.
The new Elantra gets a coupe like design along with decorative elements like sleek and sharp headlights with DRLs, large front grille, wrap-around taillamps, faux rear diffuser, and a spoiler on the boot lid. The interior counterpart shares some similar design pattern with the new Tucson. It features a centrally mounted display system along with latest multi-function steering and dials.
Moreover, the new Elantra is likely to be improved from the previously launched facelift Elantra. The sedan is likely to rival with some prominent models like VW Jetta, Skoda Octavia, and Toyota Corolla Altis in the segment. Apart from the elantra, the company is also willing to bring the refined Tucson this year. The new Tucson is the third generation model, and will offer both petrol and diesel engine choices. The petrol power mill is the latest 1.4-litre T-GDi turbo-petrol unit which was seen at the 2016 Auto Expo.
