India Assembled Suzuki Hayabusa Priced At Rs 5 Lacs Less

The Suzuki Hayabusa is among one of the most anticipated super sports motorcycles in India. Well, another reason behind the craze of the motorcycle is that it is owned and advertised by the most famous Bollywood actor Salman Khan. The Suzuki Motorcycles India has appointed him as the brand ambassador of their company. Now, the surprising news for the Hayabusa fanatics is that the super sports motorcycle will be making its availability in the country at a lower price tag. As, it will soon be started assembling in the country.

Suzuki Motorcycles India is planning to open a CKD assembly unit in India, where the Suzuki Hayabusa will get locally assembled and it directly helps the cost-cutting of the motorcycle. The price-cut up to Rs 5 lacs will definitely attract a select segment of the super sports motorcycle fanatics. The current price tag carried by the Suzuki Hayabusa is Rs 15,95000 (Ex-Showroom Delhi). Assembling it locally will reduce the taxable amount over the CBU motorcycle. And, the price of the motorcycle coming from the CKD route would probably be around Rs 12 Lacs (Ex-Showroom).

Being a super sports motorcycle, the Suzuki Hayabusa is powered by a 4-cylinder motor carrying an engine displacement of 1340cc. The liquid-cooled, DOHC engine is tuned to deliver a maximum power of 194.3 BHP and pumps out a peak torque of 155Nm, while mated to a 6-sped Constant Mesh transmission. As per company claims, it is capable to achieve a top speed of 299 KMPH and it would require just 3 seconds to reach 0-100 KMPH. The braking duties are being performed by twin disc at the front and single disc at the rear.

As of now, the Suzuki Motorcycles India is offering two variants of the super sports motorcycle coming via CBU route; the standard variant is priced at Rs 15.95 Lacs and a special edition, named as Suzuki Hayabusa Z is priced at Rs 16.20 Lacs. The aforementioned prices are from Ex-showroom Delhi. The Suzuki Hayabusa is strongly rivaling with the Kawasaki, Benelli and Triumph motorcycles in India.
