Audi has made the demonstration of the performance oriented variant of its A7 Sportback, RS7 at the ongoing 2015 Shanghai Motor Show. Already unveiled at the Moscow Auto Show last year, this runabout receives refreshment at its outside as well as inside as the A7 and S7. From the outer visual perspective, it gets a long engine hood, flowing C-pillars and the sporty sloping rear profile. This 5 door coupe also embraces a single frame black honeycomb grille and central front air inlet with a large 'Quattro' moniker. Its predecessor has been available for purchasing in India since early 2014, while the modified version is likely to be launched here this year.
Its interior has been finished superbly while keeping the noteworthy things in mind for rendering a comfy and entertaining journey for the passengers and the driver as Audi offers a large driver information display screen with Google Earth feature, entertainment system, latest dashboard graphics, renovated telematics and the RS sport seats. Other features pack an adaptive air suspension with standard adaptive damping, coupled to Audi's drive select system, a dynamic steering including continuously variable steering ratio, carbon fiber ceramic discs, Electronic Stability Control (ESC) and an optional 21 inch cast aluminium alloys.
Under the hood, the updated Audi RS7 comprises a 4.0 litre TFSI V8 Twin Turbo engine to produce power of 560 hp and an incredible torque of 700 Nm. This mill comes mated to an 8-speed 'Tiptronic' gearbox along a tall eighth gear, which supplies power with the help of the Quattro permanent all wheel drive system. Notably, the coupe includes cylinder on demand (COD) system in order to enhance its fuel efficiency.
