It's not so long back when Toyota displayed the facelift of the 2015 Camry at the New York Auto Show in the month of April with the US-need specifications. Now, just ahead of the Moscow Motor Show in the next week, the company has teased the Russian version of the Camry facelift which is quite different in terms of the front fascia at least. This Russian version of the Toyota Camry 2015 Facelift is also supposed to enter in India as well by the end of this year.
The new Russian Version has headlamps housing the projector LED DRLs, new open and wide front grille, new bumpers and re-designed combination lights as well. The interiors may also get some tweaks, but there hasn't been any confirmation over them. Mechanically, the power mill may continue with the same 2.5 Litre petrol powerhouse offering 181 PS power and 233 Nm torque with a 6-speed automatic transmission gear box. Talking about the hybrid engine, the same as above power source with the electric motor will produce 205 PS power and 270 Nm of torque.
The Moscow Motor Show is due in the next week and as soon as the car is launched in the Russia, India may also get its share quickly. The car will be out in India via the CKD route and hence making it a little lower priced than the cars coming in India by CBU route. The expected price of the car is supposed to near around INR 28-30 Lac and hence getting competition from VW Passat, Skoda Superb and Audi A3 cars.
