Indian Motorcycle Announces Post GST Prices, Models Get Cheaper by Upto INR 2.2 Lakh

The legendary American bike brand Indian Motorcycles, which sold its range of motorcycles in the country through Polaris India, has announced the revised prices of three of its motorcycles post-GST. Out of nine models in Indian lineup, the three of these motorcycles include the Indian Scout, Indian Dark Horse and Indian Chief Classic. Post GST, the prices of the bikes went down by upto INR 2.21 lakh. Have a look on the pre-GST, post-GST and percentage fall in prices of the above mentioned models.

From the revised price list of Indian Motorcycle models, it is clear that thanks to GST the Indian lovers will see their dreams much closer to self. Well, the advent of GST has brought a fresh air of happiness for the auto majors (cars and bikes). As, they are offering huge price cut on luxury vehicles. The bikes below 350cc engine capacity now attract 28 percent tax while the bikes above 350cc displacement have also been levied with an additional cess of 3 percent. Until now, the motorcycle brands such as TVS Motor Company, Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India, Hero MotoCorp, Bajaj Auto, Royal Enfield, Yamaha and Suzuki Motorcycles have passed on post GST price cut benefit to the customers.

The 1811cc engine is rated to churn out the maximum power of 74PS and the peak torque of 138.9Nm at 2600rpm. All the rolled out power will be transferred to the rear wheel via a six-speed gearbox.

Indian Chief Classic: It is a beautiful creation with the amalgamation of a responsive engine, premium build quality, and old school charm with modern touch that buyers demand for in niche segment. It gets the propelling power from the same Thunder Stroke 111 engine perform duties in the complete range of motorcycles. The engine with the displacement capacity of 1811cc pump out 74PS of maximum power and 138.9Nm of peak torque at 2600rpm via the associated a six-speed gearbox.
