Comparatively higher to the Mumbai ex-showroom price sticker, the smaller scout comes in three color options of Red, White, and Black at Rs 12.89 lakh Ex-showroom in Ahmedabad.
The newbie uses an all new V-Twin, liquid-cooled engine that is displaced with 999cc. The engine set churns out 76.90bhp power and 88.80 Nm of torque from the complete mechanism to cruise the compact tourer. While the equipped five-speed gearbox unit sports to transfer the outcome to the rear wheel.
Apparently, the Indian Scout Sixty’s various cycle parts have been borrowed from its elder brother, Scout that comprises the essentially important bits like chassis, suspension, and brakes.
Aiming to gather volume from this new rollout in competition with the dominating cruiser producer Harley Davidson in the entry level cruiser segment, the automaker is spreading its full-fledged dealership network throughout the country. Serving the metro cities like Hyderabad, Bangalore, Gurgaon, Chennai and Ahmedabad, Indian Motorcycles are likely to start new dealerships in Kochi, Kolkata, Pune, Indore, and Goa by this year end.
