Indian Roadmaster and Chief Dark Horse Launched Officially in India

The iconic American cruiser motorcycle manufacturer is working on the expansion of its product portfolio in the country. The firm, although, offering all the available models for the Indian aficionados, but, still some of them not yet launched officially. Today, the Indian Motorcycles has launched two of its newly introduced cruisers in the country, Indian Roadmaster and Indian Chief Dark Horse. The maker had already introduced both these cruisers in the global market; the Indian launch of these two took place today.

Moreover, the Indian Motorcycle has opened up its third official dealership in the Bangalore, Karnataka. While inaugurating the third dealership in Bangalore, the firm has introduced two new models for the Indian product portfolio, Indian Roadmaster and Indian Chief Dark Horse. As of now, the maker is serving the Indian customers with three showrooms located in Gurgaon, Mumbai and Bangalore. It is also planning to open two more dealerships in Chennai and Hyderabad, which will be opening shortly.

Talking about the newly launched cruisers, the Indian Chief Dark Horse has made its global appearance in the month of February, 2015. Having bloodlines of the Chief series of cruiser, it is also called to be the Blacked out motorcycle offered by the American manufacturer. Featuring completely blacked out bodywork accompanied with attractive graphics over the fuel tank and a touch of chrome components; it is a pure eye-candy to the trespassers. The war bonnet over the front mudguard will look your eyes with its simplicity.

In terms of design, the Indian Chief Dark Horse looks classier in the raw black bodywork. The lavishly designed brake caliper covers at both front and rear end makes it swagger on its beauty. The firm is also offering Ape Hanger handlebar to provide a more cozy riding position. The round shaped headlamp covered under a cowl gives out a dynamic style.

The Indian Roadmaster is the kingdom ruler in the segment, which is completely loaded with fairing and looks really bulky. A perfectly designed bagger motorcycle is stuffed with several luxurious components helps to fill your every ride with comfort. The heated rider and pillion seat, heated grips, adjustable footpegs, wide windshield and storage section are some of the major components giving you a luxurious riding experience. The firm is offering three luggage carriers along with the motorcycle.

Both the newcomers are sharing similar mechanism. The duo is powered by a liquid-cooled, fuel-injected motor carrying an engine displacement of 1811cc, which is further mated to a 6-speed transmission. The 1811cc displaced engine is tuned to generate a churning torque of 138.9 Nm @ 2600 RPM. The suspension duties have been taken care by Telescopic front forks and single monoshock at the rear. The stopping power is provided by dual 4-piston caliper at the front and a single 2-piston caliper at the rear, accompanied by Anti Lock Braking System.

The Indian Roadmaster is available carrying a price tag of Rs 34.95 Lacs and the Indian Chief Dark Horse will cost Rs 21.99 Lacs. These above mentioned prices are of Ex-Showroom Delhi. Both the cruisers will be brought down to the country via CBU route.
