The Indian Scout Bobber is priced at Rs 13.95 lakhs (ex-showroom) in India as revealed the price earlier. Now, it is all-set that the bike is going to launch on 24 November at IBW motorcycle show 2017. Whereas franchises had begun invitation for pre-bookings for the Indian Scout Bobber from the previous month, the consignment of the bike has started by now.
The Indian Scout Bobber is reduced to give the essential appearance of a custom bike. The matte black paint scheme is spread to the wheels, frame, exhaust and the motor, which resists prettily with the chrome outline of the engine setup. A fresh Indian badge of the bike on the fuel tank looks mesmerizingly well. Despite the motorcycle is inspired by the Scout, the riding position works an additive to that sameness.
The Indian Scout Bobber is powered by the same 1133 cc liquid-cooled V-twin motor which is able to churn out a maximum power of 100 bhp and a peak torque of 97 Nm. The engine of the scout is mated to a six-speed gearbox. The bike derives from cartridge-type telescopic forks at up front and a monoshock at the rear. The ground clearance of the bike slipped down by an inch and you will be thankful for scanty travel at the rear end setup.
Similar to the Indian range bike, the Scout Bobber is shipped as a thoroughly built category of bike. It will go to compete against the Harley-Davidson Fat Bob and the Moto Guzzi V9 Bobber in the Indian market.
