Indonesian Yamaha YZF R15 and R25 Get MotoGP Treatment (SE)

The Japanese two-wheeler maker has dropped another bombshell with the introduction of two new liveries for its iconic sports siblings, YZF-R25 and YZF-R15. The two new liveries are named as Movistar and Tech3. Both the motorcycles look highly appealing in Movistar Yamaha MotoGP and Monster Yamaha Tech 3 livery. The launching of the YZF-R25 in India is so far from the expectations of the enthusiasts. The reason behind introducing this racing shades for the YZF siblings is to catch the attention of the MotoGP lovers all across the globe.

Yamaha has also added the tag 'Semakin Di Depan' on the fairing which means 'One Step Ahead'. Being a special editions, the company will be selling 500 units of YZF-R25 and 3,000 units of YZF-R15, whereas the price of R25 is 53 million Rupiah, that is approximately 2.70 lakh according to Indian currency, same as respective standard variant.

The company has not made any changes in the power plant as the YZF R25 Special edition gets power from the same liquid-cooled, in-line two-cylinder, 4-stroke engine and 249 cc engine displacement, which will return a power of 36 BHP at 12,000 RPM and 22.1 Nm of torque at 10,000 RPM. The 250cc motor is equipped with fuel injection system.

In terms of style and look, this special edition Yamaha YZF-R25 has a more attractive design with a combination of blue and white along with Movistar sticker, while, the YZF-R15 Tech3 edition gets racing stripes over the front mudguard, fairing and fuel tank as well as brand stickers of Monster Energy, Standly, Stanley, Drwalt and Motul.
