A couple of months before, Jaguar has introduced its 2016 Jaguar XF-L at the Auto China event, which the company has manufactured exclusively for the Chinese auto market. Now, the British luxury carmaker announces all the specifications of its model in question in China. The list seems to be very comprehensive covering all the prominent details of the car.
Starting the segment with dimensions, the Jaguar XF-L measures 5,093mm in length, 2,091mm in width, and 1,456mm in height accompanied by a wheelbase of 3,100mm. The cabin has now been extended a bit more by offering a legroom of 157mm for the front seaters while 116mm extra kneespace for the back seated passengers.
Offered in five vibrant shades, the 2016 Jaguar XF-L has been armed with two motors. The first one comprises of a 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder petrol mill, which accelerates the vehicle at an exuberant power of 200PS at 5500 RPM and 320NM of torque at 1750-4000 RPM. On the other side, a more dynamic 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine is the second choice, which generates 240BHP at 5500 RPM and 340NM torque at 1750 RPM.

While the 240 PS 2.0-litre petrol motor has been armed as a standard fitment under the hood, the mill can be replaced with a 3.0-litre supercharged V6 petrol engine as well. The latter will produce a power of 340PS at 6500 RPM along with 450NM of torque at 3500 RPM. Rear wheels yield power through an 8-speed automatic transmission.
Chery Jaguar Land Rover’s facility is the place where the first China-made Jaguar XF-L will be produced. As per the reports, the sales are going to begin in September this year. When it comes to the India launch, JLR India is getting ready to launch the vehicle in this fiscal year only.
