The demand for the luxury cars is increasing day by day and the three largest German automobile manufacturers, Mercedes, BMW, Audi are full filling these requirements of the customers by producing tremendous luxurious vehicles in the market. The Jaguar and Land Rover have also been listed in this race to beat against the likes of these three leading companies. Recently, Jaguar has made an announcement that it will set up its XE in India in 2016 with the latest Ingenium engine. The brand has broken all records after 10 years by developing its own fuel engine, which is more powerful as compared to its own regular runabouts.
The Ingenium mill is coupled with a turbocharged 2.0 litre four cylinder and the transcendent supercharged 3.0 litre V6 via direct injection petrol engine. Both of the versions of Jaguar XE will produce the superb power as well as torque of 161 bhp, 380 Nm and 177 bhp, 430 Nm, respectively. The group chief powertrain engineer of Jaguar, Ron Lee said “The new generation of Ingenium diesel engines are wholly designed and manufactured in-house. No opportunity has been missed in ensuring their design is right on the cutting edge of technical advancement.”
It’s also powered by a 2.0 litre Ingenium diesel engine to render the enthusiastic travelling for the occupants alongside the anticipation of spectacular fuel efficiency on the highway and in the urban conditions.
